Maxi-Blast granulated media never begins with virgin polymer — it starts in the scrap bin.
Manufacturers of dinnerware, eyeglass lenses, signage, and electrical components generate enormous volumes of thermoset polymer waste — trimmings, off-cuts, and out-of-spec parts that can't be remelted, because thermosets never return to liquid.
Conventional plastic recycling can't process thermosets, so most of this material historically went to landfill. Maxi-Blast was built on a different premise: that polymer's hardness, friability, and chemical stability are exactly what blast media
needs.
